1.Continuous flow dipping system
IFFA's automatic continous flow dipping system has the strength to do mass production. It is equipped with the stable film-flowing head and triangle-dipping arm. This system is most often adopted by automobile manufacturers or larger processors becaouse of its high production capacity and low requirement of human resources. Besides, customers can choose activating first, activating later or both for the activating function based on their needs.

2.Unit dipping system
IFFA's automatic unit dipping system does not only provides efficiency of mass production but also flexibility of small quantity production. This system is often adopted by medium or large processors. It is equipped with standard activating later device and straight dipping arm.

IFFA supplies various sizes of manual dipping tanks to fit customers' needs. IFFA's manual dipping tanks are cost-effective and become good choices for start-ups to acquire new machines or for existing processors to expand their production lines. In additional to standard tanks, customized tanks are also available. Customers can ask for special specifications of the tanks or add automatic activating device, dipping arm, humidity control box or spray gun to upgrade their manual tanks into semi-automatic systems.

Tunnel Washer (Conveyor Type)
IFFA's tunnel washer is designed for mass production. It rinses off the reamining residual by multiple angles and its conveyor can carry a lot of dipped materials. Besides, customers can consider the optional air knife dryer device to expedite the drying process.

Unit Washer (Swing Type)
IFFA's Unit washer also rinses the dipped materials by multiple angles. Its base plate swings while rinsing. This washer's loading is limited so it is good for processors' sample production or personal studios' small quantity production. There is also a corresponent air knife dryer available for this washer.

Accessories & Parts
Compared to manual spraying, IFFA's activating device sprays activator more evenly. This is optional for manual tanks.

The dipping arm can reduce the risk of unstable human operation. This is also optional for manual tanks.
Dipping Arm
The air knife dryer contains vapor filter and air knife. It enhance the drying to shorten the waiting time before laying in the oven. This is optional for both types of IFFA washers.

Water transfer printing film is very sensitive to the humidity of environment. The humid conditions damp hydrographic film and affect the film's properties and performance. Putting the film ready to work in IFFA's humidity control box can keep its good operability.

With more than 30 years of surface coating, Cheng Chang Hsing recommends the spray guns with excellent atomization (breaking up bulk liquids into droplets). In general, customers also purchase our recommended spray guns together with IFFA's manual tanks.

Activator
Pre-Activating / Activating First
Coat or spray IFFA activator (pre-activating/activating first) on IFFA hydrographic film then lay the film on the surface of water and wait for dipping. The process was mainly for mass production by automatic water transfer printing machines. But in some cases, it is also for mass production by manual water transfer printing tanks.
Lay IFFA hydrographic film on the surface of water until the film almost dissolves. Then spray IFFA activator (post-activating/activator later) and go for dipping. This process is flexible for sample, small quantity or mass production. It is widely applied with IFFA automatic, semi-automatic or manualwater transfer printing systems.
Paints (Base Coat & Top Coat)
Primer (Base Coat)
Providing connection between IFFA's ink and materials, primer (base coat) plays an important role in the process of water transfer printing. Because materials for decoration always vary: metal, plastic, wood etc., the base coat needs to be selected correspondently. Besides, base coat also affects the visual effect of IFFA hydro-graphic film. IFFA provides base coat for customers' convenience.
Clear Coat (Top Coat)
After applying IFFA designs on the materials, a layer of clear coat (top coat) protecting ink and base coat is required. Glossy clear coat and matte clear coat are widely used. Sometimes flat clear is a balance between glossy clear and matte clear. Besides, for the outdoor products, we strongly suggest that customers apply IFFA's K6 ink (weather resistant ink) and PVDF clear coat.
